New member from North Carolina here. Restoring an 87 Mighty Max, 2WD 2.0. It is a project truck, so I'm taking my time. I had an '88 in high school and college. FYI...in a 30 mph head on collision, the shoulder belt doesn't grab until you hit the windshield

I love these things. Is it bad that a Mighty Max is my dream ride?

Welcome to the site. Restoration starts out with a plan, then may or may not turn into a project. Hope everything works out. And noted about the collision and seatbelt.

Nothing wrong wrong with having a dreamcar as something afordable.
