Four link tab mounting question

How's the best way to mount the tabs on the axle? I am assuming they should definately be in the vertical alignment when viewed from the side. However, should I put them in line with the axle vertically so that the bottom one pivot is exactly under the axle line and the top one is the same above? Like this:

Or should they be more forward:

Should be straight up and down.

Okay cool. Definately makes things simpler when making measurements!

It won't really affect your suspension that much. straight up and down does look cleaner though!
