need some tips

Im doing a bridgt kit on the rear of an 04 edge for a friend, and he has the gen 2 kit from suicidedoors. I have it notched already, but see that theres barely any axle tube between the differential and the frame on the pass. side. I know welding to the differential isnt a great idea, but what if I mod the axle bracket just a little so it is welded on one side to the axle tube, and the other side to the cast.. this is an Over the axle bracket so not much stress or anything pulling on the welds. let me know what you guys have done, thanks

ur gona have to put hte bracket butted up against the center section and only weld it on the inside on htat one part. u puttin 2600s out ther?

thanks james, I modified the axle brackets a little, especially on the passenger side.. and it worked out. I posted all the pics too in a new topic.
