Well my leaf springs are just about straight across with my camper on my B2200 longbed. I've seen some kits on jcwhitney. I want to know if I can find a vehicle with the same width leaf springs and stack them on my other leaf springs. Will this work? Anything I should know? Thanks a bunch

B series leaf springs are easy to remove. I have a spare set here that I am going to stack up onto my current leaf springs. There is also a helper leaf set that you can purchase at parts houses for around $30 that will add some more stiffness to your suspension.

The guy at the auto store told me to use U bolts to hold them together. Tomorrow, to the junkyard paradise!

I don't know where you are located, but if you are near Atlanta I have a spare set here that you can have cheap. And the U bolts are correct, clamp em tight at the end of the leaves for maximum stiffness.

So I pulled a good set of leaf springs from a b2200. I'm about to attempt to stack them together and not break anything. Don't know where I'll get new pack holder clips, but I wanna take it apart. The camper has been loaded for months now, and with it loaded the current springs are straight across, flat. I'm hoping if I add the new set to the current flat set it will work alright, cause that cost me $80 + gas just for two leafs.

edit: they're way too flat. went to get another pair. deciding to paint them red, or black
