Subaru Alternator!?!?!? 83 b2k

I was aqt the junk yard today and i noticed the size, mounts and the PLUG is the same on a 90ish amp subaru alternator as out 55 amp one. The mounting holes would need to be drilled out to fit the larger mazda mounting bold but i suppose you could use the subaru one with a shim or spacer but i would definitely drill it.

All this in search of a voltage Reg for my alternator. Alas i have been through 5 remans on a lifetime warranty in 4 years. bought a junker and it still works better than the reman i have.
