What in the world is a fuel cut valve that is in the rear of the truck right behind the gas tank?

also, I am installing a weber on this truck and it has a in-tank fuel pump. no problem there i will be running a pressure regulator to turn it down to 3-4 psi. Can i bypass the fuel cut valve and the rear fuel filter, and install a filter before the pressure regulator?

there is also a check and cut valve on the side of the tank, where does it connect to on the tank? ( does it connect to the white plastic fitting?)

I'm running complete stock fuel system with my weber, i will look in my photos in a second see if i have a few good ones for you to see, but you shouldn't need a fuel regulator ( unless you bought a different style than I have on mine) not sure how many variations there are, i have the 32/36.

At the top right corner of the breather is where the fuel pump is located on mine again sorry mine is an 88 but not sure how much they changed the fuel system around for the various years. The line running between my valve cover and carb is my fuel line into the carb.

Off on the far left of my fender well ( the bright white little tank ) is my fuel filter, i'm sure others have adusted the placement of their's but mines factory, you could also change a fuel filter for a different style if a match is possible not very sure haven't looked just bought the stock one when replaced. but you shouldn't have to mess with the fuel line sbut be a very hassled job removong all them vacums good luck.

He needs to run a fuel pressure regulator with an in-tank electrical fuel pump.

Cusser, the link you have doesn't show anything as to my install.
