Handbrake missing B2200 89

I went to scrapyard but couldn't find Mazda handbrake so decided to fit a mitsubishi handbrake
The lever looks same to me
Any suggestions please

A lever is a lever. All it does is pull a cable tight to actuate the brakes. As long as you can safely/correctly attach the lever it should work.

It is possible the same parking/hand brake lever was used in several cars of that era.
