gas tank

ok so i need to replace my tank cause it leaking at the seem. now here is the thing can i use an efi tank cause everywhere i look thats all i can find is the efi tank. and im sure i can just put a plate over the hole would the drop in fuel pump would go and just connect the lines like they would be and it should be good to go right???? please someone help me out i want to order on today

Looks like AutoZone has a full set of them.......where are you looking that you can only find the EFI tank?

You'll have to put in your year model, series, and gas tank in the search at the top to get the parts listing for that model. The diagrams are pretty good if you are looking for something in particular and can lead you to a factory part, then to an aftermarket part. May be worth a try.

ok so how do i tell if my truck is long or short box??

Measure it. A short box should be ~77" from bulkhead to tailgate. If yours is longer, it's a long box.
