Clutch release bearing for my 2 cents. aka "throw out" bearing.

The squeaking sound is the Pre=Going out stage of a Throwout Bearing not alot to do but ride it out i have seen people take White Lithium Grease and spray it on the bearing through the fork arm hole and its worked don't know if mazdas have the acsess like ford and chevy do but its a thought just dont spray the clutch or pressure plate

I will 2nd release bearing racket. If your pushing clutch in and gone, but some whining while in any gear classic symptom of part starting to go bad.I would just take it to a shop get a full clutch kit,get your flywheel machined(if no defects, like cracks around bolt holes or broken teeth) and replace your rear main seal while all removed.Full clutch kit, includes clutch, pressure plate, throw out brg, pilot brg, and obviously getting the flywheel machined is extra, but worth it along with doing the rear main seal.Cost varies check with your local places and be exact on what you want done,so you know upfront what the real cost will be.Just a suggestion.

does anyone have a close guess to how much it would be to get done? parts included. also is it worth in a b2000 to get an upgraded clutch? i know they dont put out a lot of power, but will it help with the get up? also what about re-gearing the rear-end? if its at a tranny shop i mine as well get it done at the same time. im open to suggestions.

p.s. anyone got performance parts for sale?

If you aren't getting the noise in neutral, while sitting at a stop, I wouldn't mess with the throw out bearing yet!
You could have a bad u-joint also.
The drive shaft tube amplifies any u-joint squeak, and pushing in the clutch relieves the load on the drive line, which may explain why it goes away.

Right, when you're not pushing down the clutch pedal, the clutch release bearing just "sits there".
