how can i figure out if the speedo cable or the cluster is bad? its off by 7mph

Just some insight most speedometers can be off by 5% even brand new! I run bigger tires 15inch and yeah mine is off.Your best bet is to see if a shop in your area can check your calibration to the letter so YOU know what ur real speed is.I would not worry,change anything otherwise and this holds true to most cars,trks in general.I did the calib chk soley for my know,and just drive with that in mind.Cost me like 10 or 20 bux it was like 18 yrs ago now.Ok
