ahhh. I was/am tossing around the idea of putting a back half like an suv on my truck, but i couldn't find a donor vehicle with similar enough dimensions to work out the way I'd planned it, at least as of yet

Could you use something like a yota 4runner it already has your sloped rear window and it's a four door?!!

I will be using the rear window from a 4 runner so I can have the power window. I need to check the dimensions on the 4 runners to see if I can use any of the sheet metal. I found a few here at a junkyard so I'm going to take measurements this weekend.

lowered the mounts a little over 2" in hopes the hood will clear when everything is assembled. I got carried away with the body drop and ended up going a little lower than planned.

finally got around to welding in the rails which will be digging trenches in the pavement soon! Now I just need to finish up the front suspension and I can put the body on the frame and weld the floor in.
