It will be on a stock frame with a new back half. If all my calculations are correct, I'll actually be shortening the frame a few inches. I started with the extra cab frame so it was already long as hell.

Wicked looking project. Are you planning on having the doors set up like most trucks where you have to open the front first with the suicide rear or do you want them to be able to open independently? If independently you will need to reshape the back of the front doors or have a very wide b-pillar which I don't think would look too good when the doors are open.

The rears will be suicide with the pillars serving as the front of the rear door. That way there is no pillar when everything is open. I'm hoping to start fabricating the doors in the next week or two. I can't wait to get them swinging, be able to visualize it better.

Awesome. Can't wait to see it. That's going to look wicked with no pillar.

What do you plan on using for the back half, like the blazer looking part in your rendering?

Good question! I'm hoping to find a hot rod shop or fabricator in the area that can help me with that section. It shouldn't be that hard though, I'll basically just need the four pillars. The tough part will be for them to match the curve of the roof. Luckily I'm putting in a sliding rag top that will take most of the roof out anyway. If anyone knows a good fabricator around Austin let me know.
