Where is the taillight flasher located on the B?

I ran into a problem today with the flasher. Here is a pic of both below.
LED flasher on the left, Mazda on right.

I can make wires to connect them, but I need to know what is what.

The Mazda flasher has "E", "B", "L" beside each connector, what do these letters mean? I need to know which is the input, output, and ground.

Something worth trying would be to use a test light on the flasher socket. Ground the test light to something metal, turn on the turn signals then see which of the 3 terminals has continuous power. That will solve one of your problems. Now turn off the turn signals, clamp your test light to a constant power and use the test light tip to see which terminal has constant ground.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

I had a tough time yesterday and today with the hood latches. I painted the inside engine panel {I made this to cover up the butchering of the rad support, and to hold the hood latch pins}, then when I let the hood down it killed all of my paint.

So, most of yesterday was cutting the front hood bracing to clear the engine panel. The next problem was that since I had no more bracing on the front I ended up cracking the paint just in front of the scoop.

So today I had to sand all of that out, and re-brace the hood, but keep the bracing off the panel.

Also, I had to line up the hood pins to the the latches. Man, I can tell you now this WASN'T like the conventional hood pins. These things had to be dead on to work.

Now I have got the hood back in filler to be sanded tomorrow and painted AGAIN on the first 60'ish day.

Here is the newly painted panel with the new pins, still fogged from the clear coat.

Looks pretty good from what I can see. I assume the red in the middle of the black is the hood pins.
Your hood issues sound like a whole bunch of fun - not.

Yep IO, the pins are the red things comming out of the panel.

I ground on the panel for about an hour trying to get those damned things aligned before getting my "alignment hammer" out and fixing them.

I hated to cut out the support, but I couldn't loose the panel due to the hood latches.

For the future I will have to remember to open the hood while grasping both sides as not to crack it.

LOL, have used my "alignment hammer" many times for surgical precision adjustments

Here is a few shots from today with the truck a little further back, and my freshly painted garage.

Tomorrow I plan to paint the hood yet AGAIN. Hopefully this will be the last time.

I put a silver dollar in one of the ports for comparison.

These are the new World 10 deg heads.

If you look at this pic of the head floor you can see an allen plug on the left, and the open hole for the allen plug on the right.

This allen plugs are so you can put a socket down the hole to torque the head stud under the intake port {which you can see in the plug hole.
