OK so im going to preform a brake job on the rear but im replacing the axle shaft seals along with it cause everything is gonna be apart. I went to oreilly to get the seals and he said theres two seals per side(inner seal and outer seal). Is this correct?

Also are there anythings i should be looking out for when replacing the axle shaft seals?

If they are leaking it's usually the inner seal. Replacing the outer seal requires the axle bearings to be pressed off the axles.

The outer seal is only a dust/grease seal really, if it's leaking you can do just the inner and cure it.

If the inner leaks it can kill the bearings by washing the grease off.
