so i got a new webber well its used but im using it anways. I'm a little on the cheap side so the way i'm working this is im disassebeling my old carb drill the bottom portion to make my adapter so far its disambeled and i have a little drilling to do.
you will learn to love the weber mate. i got one on my B2600 and it runs kinda crapy right now but i need to get it all dialed in a lil more but you will love your weber.
I hope i do. this is the first weber i have put on a mazda and I how is just as good, if not better then the yotas i have played around with in the past.
do you have any knowledge about the EDIS systems.
no dice on building my own adapter. everything was going great till i relized i drilled out one piece using the wrong spacer. completley screwed me. oh well i guess i have to spend the 50 bucks to get one.
hey will the adapter to a 32/36 fit a weber 34. i think all dg series are physicaly the same right?
this @#$% sucks turns out that the weber the buddy of mine gave me is not a true weber. so i had a adapter made for it. now its time to tune. wait a minute where the hell is the GD mixture screws?
this carb is almost identical to a weber dg seris but the base is about a 1/4 in wider. i called a compant and they told me it was a solex licensed by weber but i have not been able to find it. god sombody help me i need this thing to go to work by monday
any info on tuning this thing please text me at 971 645 0126 thanks
Got it tuned as much as possible for right now. Been asking around and I have found a guy that's called the carb guy. I guess he has shelves full of these solex so I need to call this dude and get a choke butterfly and smaller run jets. I hope he can tune it cause I'm about brain dead on doing it myself
