Turbo a 2.2?

Ok i am wanting to Turbo my 2.2 and was wondering if it has been done before i jump off into this? I bought my Mazda and the guy said it had a turbo on it? I just would like to know so if anybody knows please lmk.

it has been done my buddy put one on his mazda had to make a new intake there was a tech artical in mini truckin on it
