HELP INFO NEEDED CRANK SNOUT broke

and the problem where the crank broke

anyone??? still have some questions that need some answers if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

1.is the lower timing gear the same for the 2.0 and 2.2L???

2. the guy at the junkyard gave me the harmonic balancer belt pulley with all the stuff i got and its different than mine so im guessing its off the 2.0 motor which mine is a 2.2L which is no big deal mine is still good off my 2.2L just wanna get some correct information

3. also anyone ever buy a crank from ROCKAUTO.COM?? just tryin to get the best warranty for the buck

1. Would think the lower gear is the same. If any smaller or larger than the cam would be out of time. I say this as I DO know you can swap the entire head from a 2.0 to a 2.2 without switching the cam gear.

2. The harmonic balancer is probably different from a 2.0 to a 2.2 as I believe MazdaTweeker pointed out. As for the pulley itself, it can be different depending on what accessories the motor came with (i.e. power steering / air conditioning or not).

3. No help for ya on this one.
