the mazda tick

i had the lifter tick as well and i couldnt get it to go away until i changed the oil, so i tried Vavlevoline max life semi-synthetic 10w-30 and i havnt had it since. And if the oil wont relieve the tick till it warms up try a 10w-30 oil. The oil im thinking is to thick in the morning. but try that. and i also thought i would throw my two cents out there since i had the same thing and i just kept changing oil until i found a oil that stoped the tick indefinitaly.
