B2200 VALVE STEM SEALS 1989

Can I just pop the valve cover off along with the rocker arm assembly and change the seals? I know about air in the spark plug hole and or rope in the hole. What I dont know is if I pop the bolts off the rocker assembly will the cam also pop up or will it say in place? Just looking to replace the seals without disassembling the engine.
