or The b2600 89-93 121hp G6 motor
i want one of them i would really like the b2200 but you never see then fi but i hear the G6 is all around better, but the F2 has alot of upgrades.

Get the FI b2200. The b2600 engine is junk.

yeah but the problem is locating one for about 2k.

I hear the 2600 goes through head gaskets, like crazy, almost every build on this site on a 2600 starts by needing a head gasket

why not a FE3 motor? fi, dohc, search it on mx6forums.com to learn about it

because i dont want a swap, and i need a new daily and i would swap it if i had a FI already and it was direct bolt. im punching my self in the balls doing the 2.3l thunderbird turbo motor into my project atm

My only complaints about this engine is the loud lifters, and shat carb and emissions crap, and low power with a weber it should be reliable though

No, you need to make your own mounts its a fairly easy swap we already had it in a truck so its simpler to put into mine. You need to custom fab your hood, places for intercooler. you can keep the ac but its harder. You need to get a custom drive shaft made.
