i was havin firing trouble with mine at one point in time and it was due to the ECU. that is a good place to check. if you are not certain that you have fire going to the injectors you can always unplug it and put a test light on the neg and pos to see if its making a complete circuit. this will tell you if its grounded and if its gettin power. and i have a complete motor that just needs a head. let me know if you need something. 252 268 1735
okai so i am in a similar situation. i have a bodydropped 92 b2600i extended cab 5 spd. my problem is we r getting fuel from tha pump. into tha fuel regulator but i dont think its hittin the injectors. i had a spare regulator laying around so i gutted it so that it would get a steady flow. but that didnt werk either . i have a total of 3 ecus and 2 sets of injectorsand an additional fuel rail and tried all of these with no luck. i also have an extra dizzy too. i am lost on tha problem. please help i just wanna drive my truck again. my cell is 910 723 4179 and name is cory. if anyone can help please do . thanx in advance
glad you got it sorted, wish I could say the same for mine....if I try to start it, it will just crank over and over, wont start, but if i just flick the key,after around 3 times or so...it will fire up, not on all cylinders though, but if I leave it alone for moment, spluttering eventually it will come good and be ok all day. If i try any accelarator when first started it will just stall, I have to be really gentle with it.
I have changed the plugs, I get a good strong spark, checked the ECU, the HT leads are ok, have had the injectors checked and recon, have good compression and fuel pressure, so come on guys what am I missing here?
