new 2.2

i just bought a 1990 2200 as a project for me and my wife it is also a driver. i desperately need a new engine. the engine i have has just over 234k on it it uses almost as much oil as it does gas. butt it still has good power. i was wondering if there is anyone out there that might have a engine that will work for my truck either a 2.2 or something else that will fit without having to modify the truck. i want to go with a v8 swap at a later date i just need to be able to drive the truck until then. thanks. by the way im in nevada.

i forgot to say it has a 5 speed in it

may be just worth the time to yank it out and rebuild it quick like. Trhey come out rather easily!

easiest engine ive ever done anything on.. as someone stated to me before "these are tractor engines" lol
