just bought a new weber carb kit

just bought a WK675-34 34 DGEC weber carb kit and i was wondering how difficult it is to put on??? does the directions tell what vacuum lines i can get rid of????

only hard thing is finding the things to plug up your egr hoses... or buy a pacesetter header.. the instructions should say which hoses you dont need. i think there is only 3 or 4 that go to the carb anyways lol so it wont be that difficult

You will need a throttle cable off of a toyota p/u, the stock Mazda cable is about an inch too short. I used one off a toyota 22re motor. The instructions do tell you what lines you need, all others can find their way to the trash can.

even if i bought the kit with everything i still need a throttle cable this is the kit i bought thanks for the help

Yes you will need a throttle cable. I have the same carb on my truck.

Believe its the 89-94. is the 34/34 the only carb that needs that cable? My 32/36 works fine with the stock cable.

my 32/36 uses stock cable as well... and yes you will need a longer cable for the 34.

i just put one on over the weekend and it was pretty straight forward. i did find that majority of the parts stores did not have that throttle cable in stock but they did have an aftermarket throttle cable for that same year toyota and it was only like 30 bucks (it was made by specter). put it on and worked great. plus it was 100 bucks cheaper than the price from the dealership.

is this a nice RELIABLE daily driven setup? My B2200 is fuel injected which is awesome BUT....means I cannot run a stock hood on my truck, which I would like to do. ( and I already have a stock hood waitin to be put on! ). But seems like i hear about rough idling, poor starting, other issues? I wanna drive my Mazda daily if I choose to.
