hey all i need some help kinda fast

hey all i am sick and tired of running out of gas on the road

my problem is my gas gauge dont work and i took my little brothers auto meter fuel guage but on my truck
(1990 mazda b2200) has 2 wires coming off the fuel gauge in the tank and i cant figure out what wire is what
one is yellow and one is black

please please help me

Unfortunately it probably won't help knowing which wire is which. Mazda sending units use an odd ohm range so unless the AutoMeter gauge is set for the correct ohm range (Mazda vs say Chevy) it will not read correctly.

pull your sending unit out of your tank and bend the rod so it maKEs connection with the coiled wire

well my fuel gauge works untill i move or slam my truck so you think maybe the rob is just not making best conection

yes thats exactly what i think it is very VERY common

FILL your tank every time and run it till you've gone 200 miles, and fill it again. you know your getting low, so fill it up!! lol its not like the tank's pullin a fast one on ya... you know its getting low.

you can go to the autometer website and the have all theintructions oyu need to wire any gauge the sell.
