Rebuilding

So i am going to be gettin a 2.2 litre engine from the wrecker for $100 then rebuild it to put in my truck (currently the engine is suffering from blown rings in number 4 cylinder). So anyway what are the best mods to do to the engine while i am rebuilding. Obviously i am going to do a weber carb and header, but as far as internals what is best??? What pistons, rings, performance cam, head???

A few dealers of parts would be nice preferably in Canada (closer to vancouer the better)
