2.0 or a 2.2

i trade my s10 for the mazda i have now. im tying to re do the hole truck. the title saz its 2200 but the kid i got it form said he put a 2.0 in it so what i need to know is how to tell if its a 2.0 or a 2.2 i need to replace the water pump.if you can tell form picture you can look at them on my myspace ( not really sure how to post pictuers on this forum)

Hey man I've had the same thing done in my truck also, I'm pretty sure there's a 2.0 or 2.2 in raised letters on the exhaust side of the block up near the head.
I'd look there first, obviously there's the cambelt cover that has it on it too but I guess they could be swapped so it still looks like a 2.2ltr.

hell ya thanks for the heads up on the site..

look on the timing cover it its ribbed its 2.2...if smooth its 2.0 as long as they didnt switch those out...dunno why they would with a compleate swap
