Im wanting to put a fuel cell in my mazda and preferable an aluminum one but the main concern is can i keep my fuel guage working when doing this?
If you get a fuel cell with a 0-90 ohm sender the gauge will work, but it will read backwards. Nobody makes a 90-0 like the stock mazda unit.
so when is says its empty its actually full?
I bought an autometer fuel gauge and put it in the glove box with my air gauges.
That's strange cause I just hooked my cell up and its works just fine I have a harwood 12 gallon
screw that i went to home depot bought a 20 inch wood dowl layed in the back of the truck and check my gas every once in a while. if my after market fuel pump starts makeing loud noise i know i got about 2 minutes to find a gas station who needs a stinking gas gauge there highly overated anyways LOL no i was to freaking cheap to buy a fuel sell with a sending unit JEGS 15 gallon $200 shipped to your door
