84 clutch problem

well i bought a truck for like 200 bucks yea i know i stole it bc the motor runs like a champ and body is in ok condtion.

well the problem is the clutch is out of it, and just wondering, will a clutch out of a later model fit like 86 threw 90. because my buddy has a brand new clutch in the box that is for like an 86-90.

so will it work or will i have just buy another clutch?

I just checked the Napa parts website and Summit racing site and they show 2 different part #s for the '84 and '86 B2000. I couldn't tell if yours was 2000 or 2200 from the pic. Hope that helps -ED

well i saw a clutch kit on some other random site and the had like a kit that would fit an 84-87 and 81-84 so i dont know im going to pull the tranny tonight and see
