I have a question about this also. So obviously when you swap the carb you don't plug the wires going into the stock carb into anything now. What about the sensors that are right there also? Can you unplug those and get rid of that entire harness? What can I get rid of, what do I need to keep? Anyone who has a running motor with these wires gone, let us know.

There a few wires u should keep. Like the temp, egr and oil sensors. What i did with my was unwrap all the tape n go thru what u need and what u dont need and wrap up the ones u dont need , wrap withsome tape and slid it under the batt box. that what i did and it works for me. Or you could just cut off the ones u dont need.

i pulled all the vaccum lines off. i was just gonna cut what i dont need and put heat shrink tubing on it then wrap it up with tape. what did yall do with the fuse block?

The fuse block stays. All the wiring coming out of the ecm can be removed as. The ecm can be removed too. Only thing that needs to be separated out is the wire for the windshield wiper motor.

the ones I am talking about are the sensor on the intake mainfold (it is a green colored one on my truck) and the one below the carb towards the pass. side inner fender. I will try to find a pic and circle them.
