SBC M/T shifter position

My build is just in the early planning stages, but I'd like to know where the shifter would be, if it moves at all, when doing a SBC swap with a manual transmission. I'm leaning towards a T5 tranny.

should be close to the factory hole if yours is already a 5speed. mine was anyways

T5 out of a 93 camaro...i made my own motormounts tho so motor placment probably wont be the same as yours
