engine and transmission mating?

Is there anyway to mate a Vortec 4.3 with the factory Mazda 5-speed? I know that's asking for alot but I'd rather keep the five speed if I could instead of changing to a automatic. Anyway you guys could help would be apreciated. Thanks.

if it dont fit you can get a 5 speed tranny out of a s10.

With alot of custom fabbed parts its possible. Better just find a 5 speed outta a s10 or fullsize truck.
