Thermostat Temp rating

What is the stock thermostat temperature rating on a 91 mazda b2200 carbureted truck

192 or 195 i believe

1987 B2200 carb?

Maz calls for a 2 stage to work best.first stage opens at 160 degrees,second stage opens at 180 degrees.bj

my new was rated 195. doesn't say anything about 2 stage

since ur carb base is heated in the winter by warm water from the radiator,if u live in a cold climaTE the truck might not get warm enough to allow the thermo to open with a 195 thermo.if u live in a warm place it wont make any difference.The 2 stage allows some warm water to flow at a fairly low temp to keep things from freezing up and allows u to get some heat from the heater early on.bj

Factory listing at my work is a 192, I was running a 160 in my b22 and loved it, even on super cold mornings I had heat and the temp never got past a few marks past C on hot days
