tranny help 2.2 to 2.6 do the interchange

soed the tranny from the 2200 interchange with the tranny from the 2600? need an honest answer asap

can you change the bell housings to have the rest fit?

pretty sure that won't work either, the b22k's trannys are type II, and the b26k is a type III, input shafts are 1" instead of 15/16" on the b22k's, and if I'm not mistaken, slightly longer...you might be able to swap the bellhousing, but would also have to swap the tail shaft too from what I have read. There is some real good info on this link, and other links that he has that lead to good information too.
