Idiling high and missing, PLEASE HELP!

Thats exactly what I did except with carb cleaner. I sprayed all the vacuum hoses and caps, around the carb base, and then the whole carb body. I didn't rev up any higher than it already was. I stuck a screwdriver down the throat to make sure the choke wasn't on but that didn't help either.
