I have seen that pic before, if I'm not mistaken RussD sold the ITB setup a while back....what does it have on it now?

also, it has a magnum motor valve cover (see FET engine @ this link ) hocbj23 has a valve cover from one as do I, they came in some 86-87 mazda cars that were only released in japan, but have heard of them being in austrailia too...

It would be interesting to know if the bottom end is an actual magnum engine with the dome topped pistons & higher comp ratio, but if it came out of a bongo / friendee / brawny, I doubt it was or has the magnum bottom end with the high comp pistons....also I'm pretty sure it is only an 8 valve engine, not a 12 valve as I said earlier, some of the later bongo vans came with the 12v head like the 626's & mx-6's.

either way, it is still sweet, congrats on the purchase, & as hocbj23 said earlier, just hop in & drive!!

if you want some performance stuff, look at a fidanza flywheel, pacesetter header (if it doesn't already have one) ignition upgrade, elect fan (s), other than that, you'll have to tear into the engine to make any real gains...

ya, thats the pic. A weber carb is on it now. He says e got it from some import shop in Texas, so, i dunno. All i know is im excited now.
