The KIA swap is direct swap. The only thing you have to worry about is a little coolant plumbing and the ignition system. No need to alter motor mounts or firewall. Maybe get an elec. fan with it. I would. Bolts right up to your stock b2200 tranny! RWD.

I was looking up motors a couple weeks ago that I could potentially swap in my mazda later and the one I came across that was the most appealing to me was the 3.8 camaro v6. Supposed to get 30 hwy mpg (thats in a camaro that weighs more) and has a pretty nice 225hp.

just do a straight up 22r swap with some headers & remove all unessacary items such as ac compressor, power sterring, smog pump... my truck gets pretty good mpg, & has plenty of power for a mini., plus you can give those litle engines hell.
