Hey all, I just bought a 1990 2200 2WD auto, and I've been shopping around for a header. Some sites say its not available for an automatic. Is this true? What's the technical reason?

??
My B2200 has the exhaust manifold on the drivers' side, carb on the passenger side. Is the exhaust manifold on the passenger side with the manual transmission?

Correct me if i'm wrong. The old Pacsetters did not fit on automatics. But the newer one does. My buddy and I put a pacesetter on his b2200 Automatic with no problems.

even on the older style,u could flatten the inner tube so it would clear the tranny flange on the automatic and it would fit ok.BJ

I just put one on a truck with an automatic a few days ago. No issues at all.

Thanks for the quick input. This seems like a pretty cool community - kind of a pleasant surprise, really.
A little old lady with a walker passed me on the side of the road today so I went and ordered the header. I can't wait to put it in! I don't think it'll be as quick as my old B4000, but I hope it helps.
