Do I need the O2 sensor with the Weber conversion?

You don't need the engine computer, which is the only thing that reads the O2 sensor, so no.

You could get an air/fuel gauge and use the 02 sensor to make sure your carb has the right jets...

my '89 2200 has an electric fuel pump that is putting out 7.5 psi and the Weber calls for 3.5 so I went to the autoparts store and bought a Mr.Gasket fuel pressure regulator that is adjustable from 1.5 to 6 psi for about $20. I also read on this forum that some are running only 2 psi on the Weber to get the best performance.
