Great to hear that u passed. The other biggy-not to take anything away from Dr.Tweaker_ was finding the vacuum leak in the head. The hocster's EGR valve probably helped a little as well.Good job to all.BJ

Here are the results of the last test:

Speed_RPM__%CO2_%O2_HC(ppm)__CO(%)____NO(ppm)__RESULT
__15__1880___13.6___2.0____29______0.01________299_____PASS
__25__1978___13.6___2.0____16______0.00________260_____PASS

Actually, I think the guy made a mistake and had the wrong gear for the 25 mph test. The rpm's should have been around 2900. Oh well, I'm not about to complain. The low rpm test was where it failed before.

Thank you both gentlemen for your most appreciated help in all this.

I will post mileage numbers when I run the truck some more - which may not be for a couple of weeks.

I haven't completed a mileage check on it yet, but will shortly.

Now that the computer is controlling the mixture and EGR is working the drivability has sure gone downhill. Mixtures were meant to be set by guys, not chips.

Oooo - that's right. I've got a court date coming up. Thanks for the reminder.

Here's the current mileage I'm getting: 23 mpg for 190 miles of mixed freeway and local driving. This truck (a longbed) seems to be geared pretty low - it's turning 3000 rpm at 70 mph which is where I am running it on the freeway.
