I have a chevy rad in my truck (don't know from what)
and it needs a new cap
the one that was on there was 15 PSI
the truck manual says 11-15 PSI

i found one that's 16 PSI
will that work ?
or should i go with 13 PSI
those are the only two pressures i can find it seems .....

It'll work, it'll just mean that the temperature is slightly higher before it "overflows".
13 will be fine, that way if you have a problem with temperature you'll find out earlier.
Though with a 16 you can have higher temperature coolant which will reduce the amount of thermal energy transfer out of the combustion chamber and maybe you'll get .002% better mileage? lol.

Hmmmmm
I posted this on the other site and got an answer that i should use the 13 PSI one as it's closer to the manual

not sure what to think now......

lol, I also say use the 13 psi!
But the 16 wouldn't hurt too much, but why bother, the 13 is in range
