it's basically right, except you need the maf adaptor, but there's a write-up on how to make one for cheap.
my buddie dynoed his pvc intake versus a k and nFIPK and the pvc one gained like 1 more hp that he k and n lol
dude that is a kick ass idea about the intake, i have a bunch of pvc lying around from when we rebuilt my house, but one question. how do u build it to fit the bend? and thanx for the painting tips, im going to get on that this winter
haha now thats some funny shit
oh, and whats the maf adapter (u guys prolly by now think im a stupid idiot about this, because of all the questions that ive been asking)
the mafadapter is flat piece w/ a circle on it w/ 4 botls to bolt on the maf like your airbox did.... you could get a k&n filter for an f150 and just screw the filter directly to your MAF. thats waht ihad on my 92 3.0 for a while. i think i had to make the hold in the filter a lil bigger but it worked.
how much do u think that the maf wil cost?
you can get one on ebay for like $8 with a cone filter.
look up ford ranger cone filter
and you're bound to find something.
that pvc intake loooks great! wanna make me one for like 10 bucks shipped? j/k it looks good and of course cheap! i like the throttle linkage cover even better. diamond plating is the best!
