When the auto shifts correctly you shouldn't notice - if it's not up-shifting correctly it's that hose or modulator. If you see any trans leak you need to check the filler tube seal, modulator seal, and all the other seals (lock up solenoid, pressure switch etc).

The lock up solenoid is controlled by a electronic trans pressure switch on the driverside of the trans - the last portion I posted on the trans. The seal around the signal wire goes bad...

Yeah, hesitates (revs way too high) to upshift. But that seemed to be normal when it was finally kicked in reverse range. I'll have to look into that filler tube seal, wouldn't have even thought of that or the pressure switch seal. Thanks again for the added info. Will test everything soon.
