Good to know! I mean I was hoping that I wouldn't harm the motor with the thicker oil... On a side note the smoking has gone down some...

I use straight Valvoline 40W in both my B2200 and in my 1971 VW year round (Arizona).
I use multiweight in my 1998 and 2004 4-cylinder Frontiers. I use synthetic 5W-30 in the 2005 Yukon, that's what previous owner used.
