i didn't replace mine and haven't had any problems ***knocking on wood***. except for the tranny. hahaha, i don't think that has to do with the head bolts though. haha.

Haha. I just want to make sure. I'm replacing so much on this engine with the hopes I won't have to for a very long time. All the gaskets are being replaced, newly rebuilt head (bought from a guy at mazdatruckin) new cam bearings, new water pump, new hoses, hopefully that gm alt, belts, etc.
I want the engine to hold up for another 195k without being messed with haha
