04 ford v6 4.0 motor swap in 84 sundowner

so i have an 84 b2000 sundowner and i've been thinking about putting a ford v6 4.0 motor in it from a 04 ranger that i have i've got every thing i need motor trans also im putting in the ranger drive shift and rear end as well but i dont know if i would need new motor mounts or if the stock ones would work i've looked all over online and cant find a thing on that swap dose any one know if the mounts would work

They all seem to do that. I dunno what it is about em. My last one did the same thing. Rebuilt it all and then it ran like shit. You'll need new motor mounts for sure. Cut the old ones off and I believe energy suspension makes a universal rubber 'mount' for engines, just gotta fab up your own brackets.
