So, sweet n simple question hope a sweet simple answer.

Drivers side door lock will unlock the door but not lock it..

Also is it normal for locking the door and when you shut the door it unlocks itself? Both doors do this.

Not so simple, as I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean when you use the key from the outside, or when you push down on the door lock button? If from they key/lock, do you feel anything moving when you turn the key towards the rear of the truck? You may end up having to pull the door panel off to take a look-see.

By the way, my door key tumblers wore to where almost anything, like even a paper clip, would unlock the doors, so I ordered a replacemnt pair from RockAuto.

As in turning the key from outside the vehicle it will unlock fine but feels like nothing when trying to lock it. It locks from inside just fine.

And thanks for the handle up tip.

On my B2200, turning the key towards the rear LOCKS it, turn forward to unlock.

My Frontiers and Mrs. Cusser's Yukon are the opposite.
