Well I have a bench seat in my B and the seat on the drivers side is a little saggy/sunk, can get uncomfortable. I can actually feel some metal spring I think. Is there any easy fix for this? I have heard you can take some stiff but flexible board and place it beneath the foam pad but above the springs to give the seat some more support and stop the springs from digging into the foam. Is this something any of you have done? It looks like my seat has been reupholstered at some point as well. Am I better off taking it to an upholstery specialist?

CyFi6 - I've used Bell Auto Upholstery (now at Deer Valley and I-17) for the bucket seats in my '88 B2200 (back in 1995), and they've held up REAL well. And we just took Mrs. Cusser's Yukon in to have two driver's seat ripped panels replaced (one leather and one vinyl area), looks great. So that's what I'd recommend.

Before I had them re-do my seats, I tried two different types of chain-store seat covers, thick blanket materials, but they wore through pretty quickly. Upholstery guys can repair the seat innards so it looks and feels like new.

Great, I will check them out. I feel like anything I would attempt would be ghetto, so I will get a quote from them and go through with it if it is reasonable. Gotta keep my butt happy.
