The site is back so I can finally continue this thread!! Most of the secrets have come out, but my paint will stay a secret until its done . Its been close to 5 years and this project will not die until I am broke or until its done!
Bottom bodyline-gone!

The whole rendering, without the paint that is planned

Thanks for coming back to the site and posting some updates! Your basically going through with what I always wanted to do to my old ranger. What rear end is that that your using? Is it the Honda rear set?

Rx-7 IRS, I have this site bookmarked, always clicked on it to find if it was back. Low and behold it worked this last time! I will have some new pics pretty soon.

A small update, the radiator is soon to be done, also the front bumper(will have pics of that soon enough). So here are some pics of the firewall progress, cleaning it up.
Before and after, you can see in the old pics in the thread how far it has come too.

Looking good! I love the fiberglass work. Foam is awesome, I always used a wire skeleton until these sculptors showed me how nice working with foam is.

Is that foam resin proof? And where did you get it? We used the regular white foam on my sculpture job, we had to coat it with glue to protect it from the resin

It was just foam you can get at a craft store...

Gotcha, so the resin didn't eat it, or did you coat it with something?
