Engine is about 90% assembled at the machine shop with a carb setup. Should hit dyno next week. I'll sort out the EFI when I get it in the truck.

24lb injectors came in today

Ordered the following parts:
Valve covers:

75MM Throttle Body & EGR Delete

Cobra MAF

Most of the EFI components have been updated over stock Mustang, so this thing should be a little stronger and quicker throttle response than the average Mustang, or at least that's the plan at this point.

Once I get it running, I will have the ECU flashed while on the dyno to make sure it's tuned just right.

Thanks.

Hopefully, I'll have some dyno video this week or next.

dyno vid does nothing for me. i'm cool with burnout vids.

Ha! I don't blame you there. Don't worry, the burnout videos will come. I'm wanting that much more than you, rest assured. However, they won't come until after the 8.8 is installed. I haven't decided whether to do the 8.8 now or wait until I do the a-arms. If I do it before the arms, the rear will be about 1.5" wider than the front.

I'm going to move the truck into the shop sometime next week and get the cab and bed off of it. If everything cleans up quickly, I'll probably go ahead and throw the 8.8 in it. That way I will only have to do the driveshaft once.

Do the driveline once... that would be the smart thing. but it makes sense to do the rear swap at the same time as you do the front. what arms are u waiting on?

I don't know of any arms out there for this truck that match what I'm going for, so I think I'll build my own. I have access to laser cutters locally, so I may just get some drawn up out of flat plate and put them together myself. I want to do coilovers, too, so that is another cost consideration I'm just not ready for yet. I have four build projects going on right now, so I just need to get some of them finished and out the door. The Jeep and the M3 will be up for sale as soon as they're done.

Also, I'll have to get shafts made for the rear to get a 6 lug bolt pattern. The stock Ford shafts can't be redrilled to match the OE Mazda front and the Rockstars I already have for it. That's another $400.

Something like this is what I had in mind:
