thats nuts.. why is your frame so thin there? mine is about 3/16 thick the entire way.. boxed front to back? maybe they changed them as they got older..

The frame is boxed front to back, It's a maximum of 10 ga (1/8") thick on a good day. I had to adjust my welding style because I was burning through.

looking better every day. I know it's been said, but I bet that is so much easier to do on monster jackstands

I plated the inside of the framerails from under the back of the cab to the rear crossmember. STIFF!! It also gives me beautiful, strong, smooth metal to attach all my goodies to. I also got my upper links made, they are shown in their approximate position. The rear crossmember is 3x3x1/4" tube.
